OTTERSTEDT INSURANCE AGENCY launched a new advertising campaign designed to emphasize the importance of understanding the value of purchasing the right coverage.
Otterstedt partnered with its agency of record,
“A year-and-a-half ago we assembled a team of advertising specialists, along with some key staff members, to do an in-depth examination of the challenges that face our business,” he said. “We realized we’re laced with a landscape where the giants in the industry spend millions of dollars on advertising. We wanted to differentiate and educate people in a way that’s compelling.
“What we liked about the ShoppingintheDark campaign is that it shifts the conversation into the context of value and impact without getting involved in the price wars,” he said.
The campaign is running in various media, including billboards, newspapers and magazines,TV; social media and via guerilla marketing tactics. The company also created www.Shoppingintfoedark.com, where visitors are directed to the Otterstedt website and can learn more about the agency and learn not to shop in the dark when it comes to buying insurance.
