On Thursday, the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) raised its interest rate 75 points to 7.75%, warning of growing inflationary pressures, the worsening of geopolitical tensions and possible new adjustments in monetary and financial conditions.
This is the ninth consecutive increase in the price of money by the Mexican central bank.
