TORONTO (AP) _ Dominion Diamond Corp. (DDC) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $5.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company said it had net income of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, were 8 cents per share.
The diamond mining company posted revenue of $129.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $190,000, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $570.9 million.
Dominion Diamond shares have climbed 32 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $12.81, a climb of 6 percent in the last 12 months.
