Equity Update: Asian stock markets traded mixed, Eurozone markets essentially moved sideways and U.S. futures are fractionally higher in quiet year and trade. DAX and FTSE 100 are currently down -0.09%, and -0.03% respectively, the Euro Stoxx 50 up 0.15%. A 0.2% rise in the NASDAQ is leading U.S. futures higher. In Asia, mainland China bourses could benefit from renewed speculation of additional stimulus measures against the background of extension of some personal income tax breaks, which left the CSI 300 up 0.8% at the close. The ASX managed a 0.1% gain, the Hang Seng was up 0.1% at the close, the ASX 0.05%, while Topix and Nikkei corrected -0.3% and -0.4% respectively.
