In detail, the S&P/BVL Peru General – the local benchmark – ended the session with a negative variation of -2.83%, while the S&P/BVL Peru Select – the most representative of the BVL – closed with a variation of -3.28%.
Sectors such as mining (S&P/BVL MINING) dragged losses of up to -6.07% and construction (S&P/BVL CONSTRUCTION), -2.49%. The consumer sector (S&P/BVL Consumer) reached -4.19%.
On the other hand, the indicators with gains were the S&P/BVL Ingenius – which measures the performance of large technology companies – with 1.60% and the S&P/BVL FINANCIALS, with 0.10%.
