Modest gains help Wall Street reach new record highs

The New York Stock Exchange held steady to the upside on Monday, with modest gains but enough to set new records for its three main indexes.

The first results at the close of Wall Street show the Dow Jones with an advance of 0.28% to 36,431.39 points.

Meanwhile the technology Nasdaq gained just 0.07% to 15,983.36, its new high, and similarly the S&P; 500 closed with marginal gain of 0.09% to 4,701.72 units, its eighth consecutive record.
