WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) _ Penns Woods Bancorp Inc. (PWOD) on Tuesday reported first-quarter profit of $2.7 million.
The Williamsport, Pennsylvania-based bank said it had earnings of 56 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 54 cents per share.
The holding company for Jersey Shore State Bank and Luzerne Bank posted revenue of $14.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $13 million.
Penns Woods shares have fallen 16 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 4.5 percent in the last 12 months.
