National Annuity Awareness Month is designed to provide awareness and understanding of annuities and their benefits in financial and retirement planning.
Various activities in support of National Annuity Awareness Month will occur throughout the month of June. Wink’s CEO, Sheryl J. Moore formally accepted Iowa’s proclamation of Annuity Awareness Month on May 28th, 2015 from Iowa Governor Terry Branstad. Iowa is the first state to declare June as Annuity Awareness Month; the Coalition continues to strive to obtain proclamations from each state and ultimately, obtain recognition on a national level.
